Thought I would share a few pics .... I recently became a member of the elusive 20" club of trout fishing. I landed this nice pre-spawn male on a dry fly in the middle of the afternoon a couple of weeks ago and when I put a tape to him he was just slightly over 20". It was a nice benchmark to reach with only fly fishing for a year.

Nice fish! When I lived in Wi I used to go trout fishing regularly (I was a rookie that fell in love with the small streams and rivers). Never caught fish much bigger than 14" except the one rainy day I was throwing crawlers and I caught a 21"er !! I was a proud youngster ..

Brian, you should go to AK and fish with Steve. Obviously you have proven you know how to fish.
Depends on the species you want to target.

Thanks guys .... I'm having a blast and have been fortunate to fly fish on the average 3-4 times a week since early spring and it truly is a new found passion. Watchm, would love to catch some grayling in Alaska. Janet and I are actually looking at going to Iceland to target giant Browns!

Caught and released but I'm having a replica mount done of it.
