I had a gentleman in Florida do three reproduction Brown trout mounts for me. As you can see, he does amazing work. Starting with the correct size blank he sculpts and matches the anatomy of each individual fish. He then airbrushes and manually paints them, right down to the individual spots. These were all caught right here in the Driftless Area of SE Minnesota and after a quick pic and measurements they were released to fight another day. Since taking up fly fishing I have become quite obsessed and have one season guiding clients under my belt for an Orvis endorsed guide / Orvis authorized fly shop. My wife and I took two more trips this year - VT/NH where we fished the Connecticut and Androscoggin Rivers then to northern WI to fish the Brule for Steelhead. The weather this Fall hasn't been the best for waterfowl hunting the river but has made for some incredible angling on the fly!

Excellent - you do have the bug in a terrible way. More expensive than crack, but ya get to keep your teeth.

We each had several hook ups but all broke us off .... fuels the fire to chase them again!
