I shot a few banded honkers and they all were banded by the state biologist not far away from the banding site.
If those are the giant Canada geese subspecies that's probably true for you as well. The giants don't migrate hardly at all. Perhaps 70 miles north and south. Small range. This is anecdotal information I could be very wrong but from what I see the giants don't hardly move. (Central Illinois)

Should of gone immediately to the closest store and bought a lottery ticket that day. You will be hard pressed to repeat that and if you do,goto nearest store buy lottery ticket. God job!

Unexpected windfalls.
One day the bank lady cashed my check and gave me $20 too much..sweet! So I filled up the car it took 15. Gave a twenty and got back 15? Sweet some more. Wheee I'm rich.
5 days later...
The bank took $20 out of our checking account and caused a huge cluster fork. They got theirs over their own mistake and the correction caused financial distress OMG..Suddenly we're crooks for bouncing checks. MOM!!!
