    Anyone got a silver bullet?
Rest, ice & elevation doesn't seem to be doing it.
I tend to be impatient but I'm seeing no improvement.
Hoping someone found a way to tame it.
    Thanks for any insights.

On patients, I have used both Cold Laser and also Radial Shockwave
The Laser works well and Radial Shockwave works some better, but is more expensive.

There are some good drugs out there that will not cure the problem, but after taking them you won’t care.

Are you sure your tendon is not trying to detach? I mentioned my tendinitis to my general doctor, and found out that it was a detachment issue.

Yikes I felt your pain 25 years ago, stepped on a tree root in the dark coming out of a back-country hunt. Quite the zinger of pain when it first happened!

All you listed. Doc had me gently rotate my foot as light stretching. Never to the point of feeling an added burn. Took 6 weeks before I could walk without thinking about it

Seriously though, it sounds like you’re doing all the right things. You can try a NSAID like ibuprofen or naproxen to help relieve inflammation if you want, but rest and time are going to do more for you than anything else.

If you do find a silver bullet, let me know. I have some tendon issues in my feet and ankles. Most days it is a minor annoyance, but it can be extremely painful at times. Stretching is key. If I don’t spend a few minutes stretching my feet and ankles every morning and occasionally throughout the day, I walk around like a cripple.

Are you regularly taking any serious antibotics like Cipro?
