ya I know it’s duck season but most of us duck hunters deal with rats and mice at our hunt clubs or homes... me it’s a on going battle with fruit trees or my wife raising birds (rats love bird seed)

Any way I run the whole set up... snap traps, poison blocks, ratanator, pellet gun!! All work to a point but once a rat catches on to the gig he’s harder to trick than a old bull sprig..

Thanks to a member here Jabird, while at his house picking up some decoys he had one of these traps on his work bench and gave me the 411 on them ....I really liked the concept went straight home and ordered them on eBay

They are rat catching sonofaguns for sure .. For 13 bucks if u got mice or rats get ya some ...

They are small enough to drop in a 5 gallon bucket of water for easy dispersing of said rat !!

    Thanks Jabird!!

What are they called? At this point I’ll try anything. They got into my garage, ate a hole in the Sheetrock and moved into the attic. I’m not getting them with the snap traps anymore.

    I hate rats!

They just came back strong at my place after a year of peace. I'm getting those.

Been battling them since we moved to Oregon from AK. Like Mr. Seaters says, hard as heck to catch. Smart rodent. Got the moles and ground squirrels too. Will be getting the traps. Thank you Mark Seaters.

Those look like the "Have-A-Heart" traps which trap animals live so you can "release them" unharmed. Hmmmmm.......

The trap Mark put the link up to has a couple reviews which indicate it might be a bit flimsy?

    Google is your friend.

Not 'Hav-a-hearts'. Amazon has them also. Just search for Live Rat Trap. Just ordered two. I got some packrats in my pole barn that are frustrating my snap and small conibears.
