Not from what I have been seeing in the frozen section in the stores I have been in. All of the wild caught salmon I have seen has been rprocessed by the ChineeseIt must be off loaded from the fishing boats off shore onto Chineese processing ships in the Oceana.
Where are the fish processed in AK going as I have not seen any here in Michigan. Probably going to China and the far east along with the oil comming out of AK.

Wild Alaska Salmon is processed in Alaska, employing thousands of workers every summer.
Trident has plants that process wild Alaska salmon in Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, False Pass, Chignik, Cordova.
Peter Pan has plants in Valdez, Port Moller, Dillingham, King Cove
Trident's plant in Naknek processes up to 15 million sockeye salmon each summer.
Bristol Bay has the largest run of Sockeye Salmon in the world,
with a total of 40 million salmon harvested and processed last summer

put two boxes of Naknek sockeye in the freezer a bit ago, been smoking like nuts

Since the 2 big processors in Alaska are Trident and Peter Pan, those brands typically are Alaska Wild Salmon.
Peter Pan Seafoods primarily markets two brands in the United States. Double Q is sold primarily in the Southeast markets and Deming’s is sold in many Midwest and Western markets. Both products contain Alaskan wild salmon, processed in our own Alaska seafood processing plants. T

Also there is a logo "Made in Alaska" for products grown in Alaska.

We're members of Sitka Salmon Shares too but it's more expensive. Better variety though. In either case, the fish is way better than what I can buy in the grocery store here in Wisconsin.

Meijer's has some smoked Salmon from So. America, don't/won't buy it! It may cost a bit more, BUT if I'm jonsing for some shrimp or fish I will buy American or do w/o- just the way I roll! FTR I do this w/lamb also - no Australian lamb! I don't eat much (of either) just a treat every once in a while.

Used to be that Aussie lamb wasn’t very good, older/leaner than US palates liked, but over the years it has gotten very good. If it’s an ‘American only” thing that’s your choice, but as far as quality, Aussie lamb is good.
