If you don't mind her shooting the cheap stuff I still see the 100-round packs at Walmart for ~$20. They're usually the only shells there.
Gee I feel very blessed to have access to both ammo and cash. Am thinking hard of just stashing a case or two. Its just sitting there in a store that usually dont have steel shot i was surprised to even see it there. Cases. And its Remington flavor too? Very odd I better go actually look again. I think its sportsman.
Stumbled into ammo at Cabela's the other day, was looking at grills and saw a line at gun department, Asked the guy at the end of line what's up. He said they are putting out ammo. Waited for 15 minutes and they opened the aisle up on 2 at a time was let in. and was a2 box limited. Was able to get to 2 boxes of 17 hmrs and 2 333 boxes of 22's, felt like a kid at Christmas. But they had no lead shotgun shell like 5's or 6's for small game and crows hunting.
Last Saturday there was a long line waiting for the store to open in the morning, many if not all wanting ammunition, they were sadly disappointed as the shelf were bare of .223 / 5.56 and 9mm, some shotgun stuff.
