Just looked at Rogers. Their sale price is $20 a case higher than their prior sale price. Crazy train.

All those of you that can remember the days of Jimmy Carter, welcome back. Here comes inflation, can't print money without causing inflation.

Actually you can. What if the fed printed $10 trillion and buried it? No inflation then. Of the $3 trillion the fed has printed in 2020 half still sits at the treasury unspent...

I wish what you were saying was true. The Fed does not print actual currency, that is in the purview of the Treasury Department. When the Fed “prints” it is actually releasing new currency into the economy by manipulating the federal funds rate or through open market operations where the Fed buys U.S. Treasurys and other securities from its member banks and replaces them with credit. We are on an expansionary bubble unlike any in history, and what we are witnessing WILL lead to mass inflation, and possibly hyperinflation in the future. The more they keep propping up an unsound economy through printing, the harder the fall will be. Cheers

I see lots of doom and gloom economists here on the Forums. Time will tell how it all shakes out. My crystal ball needs new batteries!

How bad do you think the crash would have been had they not printed anything? I don’t like it either but the bottom really fell out last year and I don’t know what wouldve happened either way

It isn't easing any crash. Just delaying it. The bad is still to come.
