Use grits, polk the ant hill and make them mad, then pour the grits on top of the ant hill and the ants will eat the grits and die, some of the ants will take the grits to the queen ant and she will die also. I thought it was a joke many years ago when an older man told me about it , I just busted out laughing at him. I tryed it months later to see if it realy worked and it did. Now I use it every time I see an ant hill. I am sorry for laughing at him. I bow down to wisdom.

You have to admit it sounds funny, but try it.

For those of you who do not know what grits are, corn meal or cream of wheat will work, but the grits work the best.

If this works, I don't think I'll eat any more grits.

That 20 mule team Borax works too. Keep all pets away from it.

I have a plan that will get rid of fireants, make the state $$, & please hunters!

Import a bunch of ant-eaters into the state & turn em loose. When they eat all the fireants & over-populate, create a hunting season for em along with a $7.00 "Ant-eater Conservation Stamp", & a bag limit of 4. Bet some " BBQ'd eater or eater gumbo" would taste purty good!:D

He is right. My son told me about it. Don't have grits, but cream of wheat did the trick. It really works. Al
