Might not want to stir up the nest much.
Once they think the nest is under attack, they scatter the queens and then you'll have a few more hills to deal with.
Just enough to bring a couple out at most. They'll get around to carryin' the stuff below, don't worry.....;)
I'm gonna try the grits just to see if it'll work.
My Ma-in-law uses flour, it works too! Just not as fast as the stinky poison does and I like to get results FAST!! :l

I'll have to try that. My wife's business partner, mentioned that to my wife awhile back, and I didn't think anything of it. I guess she was right !!!:)

It's going to take me a CRAPLOAD of grits, because we have ants ALL OVER, our yard and pasture.:eek: :eek: :mad:

An Osage orange tree also known as Bodok among call makers produces a fruit that's refered to as a hedge apple. Cut one of these apples in half and insert into top of mound. It works good and fast. Think about that also next time your calling at ducks with a call made from bodok. (I'm sure my spelling is not correct on many words above :confused: ):l
