Yea, me too. I never really thought I had much talent. I focused on making functional things. Beauty was secondary.

I’m just the opposite. For me, anything worth building is worth building to the highest standard your talent allows. Because of this, it takes me about twice as long to build something as the “getter done guys”.

I'm all about that. Problem is, the stuff you see IS the highest standard my 'talent' allows. Lots of you have WAY more talent.

Entertainment center was for our 1st 32 Inch tube TV. Modified for the present.
Refaced the cabinets when we 1st moved in from mostly all scrap from a local cabinet maker .
The only wood I bought was the 1/4 inch rift sawn plywood, I really like that look on plywood.
I milled all the trim for the baseboards and doors also

Love the gun cabinet; I want to build one myself. Don't see them much anymore, people just gotta have fancy safes nowadays.
