Anybody Hunted in FAR Eastern Colorado?

    Geese only fed once on Satuday, and Id guess cause of the warm, they continued to do so... Went out about 3 in the afternoon, well after we had to pick up and head home.

    DUcks milling around all over the lake, but not where you could get to them. Now with the heat, the birds should start to congregate more where its even hard to get to them, and then make life even harder. Maybe if we got some dang weather in this state... winter weather that is ;-), we could get some good hunting out here... I think Ill actually go to work today and not hunt... just aint worth getting the dog all hyped up for the boredom... ;-)

    Hunted Sunday morning at Atwood. Decent number of duck:

    2 guns
    4 Woodies
    4 GW Teal
    2 Mallards

    Saw lot's of the little ducks.

    Geese were leaving Prewitt about 8:30 for the feilds. Were high for us, but swarms of them.
