No kidding! Honestly tho, he's looking better and better every game. He's got some of the best stuff in the game, if he ever gets his head totally together, look out. One can only hope. :dv

Mud - Ducky - Agreed. He has pitched fairly well in about his last 6 - 8 starts. Cubs haven't scored any runs for him or when they did the bull pen couldn't hold the lead. I watch most games if they are on TV. Scrutinize the box score the day after usually. By my observations he should have 4-5 more wins.

I'll give him credit, he's better than what he was. I no longer cringe when I see he's the starting pitcher.
It seemed like Carl Edwards jr always had the numbers to back him up, but every time I seen him pitch, things went to hell.
Maybe he and Hammels will return soon and provide some help.

Edwards came off the IL today. Didn't pitch though. Probably should have instead of Strop. He's been blowing it lately, every since he got knocked out of the closer role. Most of the bullpen strikes me as having 10 cent heads. :doh

Never have liked Strop - 3rd time in last 2 years he has come in and gave up a home run on his first pitch. Shook off the catcher a threw a belt high 90 mph fastball I could of hit out of the park !!!

Edwards got optioned back to AAA again today. Wouldn't break my heart if he never comes back. They should send him a roomie (Strop).

Just 1.5 GB won 8 out of 10. That series at end of the month will have some meaning
