Well heck, apparently while I was brushing the blind this morning, the decision was made (and it was probable that it was the plan anyhow).
So long and good luck Joe, and thanks.

The Cubbies next World Series winning manager won't be born for at least another 30-40 years.

Word around town is that Joe Girardi notified the front office a few weeks ago that he'd like Joe's old job. While it would be awesome to have a local guy managing the Cubs, I'm not really sure if I like that fit or not. Guess we'll see. One way or another, big changes are a coming at Wrigley next year.

Zobrist pitching was great. He really didn't do bad for a first try at it. I especially liked his striking out Yadi, after his little display the other night with Cole.

I made that comment in 2018 under false pretenses (hopes) and thus cannot be held responsible nor accountable for such verbiage. Besides, your precious redbirds ain't out of the woods quite yet.

I'm trying to watch the Cards /Braves game and trying hard to root for the Braves but I cant take the constant Native American "chant" the fans keep yodeling.
    Please, make it stop.

    Should of taken that.
The Cardinals will still be playing baseball to at the very least Oct 15. And those Dodgers that were so good well 106 wins in the regular season but only 2 in Oct. Cardinals and Nats should be fun probably going to face Scherzer and Strasburg at least 4 times if the series goes the distance. Right now they are finding was to win. Let's hope they keep it up.

I'm impressed by what the Cards have done. It'll be interesting.
I would've bet money the Dodgers were headed to the Series.
