Are the mallards really gone?

    I think not, just relocated. Private management has improved exponentially, the state and Feds will never be able to keep up with the private clubs. I believe they’ve already given up.

    I heard a couple walking to the blind at 0600....they left and never saw another...I left at 1 pm, no shots fired.

    Tons of mallards in the closed zones. Bigger birds bigger brains, I guess. Oh and Klamath. Don’t get me started

    They are all behind locked gates....it is too bad the management on our state and federal refuges isn’t conducive to mallards anymore.
