Did he obtain the Arkansas DL and/or lifetime HL fraudulently? If he legally established residency requirements what is the predicate for the arrest warrant?

Six carloads of Feds surrounding the camp for violation of a State "nonresidents can't be in our woods" rule, or him gaming the system to get a resident license doesn't sound right. That's a huge amount of overhead and personnel to put around one camp for one person. They were watching him well prior, I'm guessing.

JP, I'm betting he set his camp up as his "residence", got an Arkansas DL, but was still living and working in South Carolina.

Yes, they had a pile of paperwork, thick as a Bible on him that they had collected over 3-4 years prior.Yes on the camp as residence and yes on still living, though part time in SC....MG

I'm sorry to hear that, MG...years of observations and files is never going to have a good outcome. And even if you're proved right in the end, you never get rid of that episode...

You are legally allowed to own two principal residences as long as you reside in each of them at least 14 days out of the year. It would be illuminating to see the warrant and supporting documentation.

No way there is a federally funded ramp on federal land that is gated by private owners...

More evidence that Arkansas is just Mississippi w/o shoes.
