http://www.sbnation.com/2015/4/5/83...son-on-frank-kaminsky-after-kentuckys-loss-to I think Harrison was a bit frustrated with Frank the Tank.
Last night I watched the second half and to be honest that is the first time in 30 yrs I didn't change the channel within 3 seconds. It must have been a good game, because I seldom watch basketball and rate it right up there with golf.
He claims it was all in jest. Reaction would be the same if Frank said those same words last year when KY beat them.
Well, I reckon there are 2 alternatives. String him up, or don't. Do I think he meant anything by it? Yup, I think he meant eff Frank the Tank. Do I think he was joking? Nope. I think he was a little salty at that point. Was it racial? Doubt it but don't know for sure? Would the reaction have been different if Frank had said it to Harrison? I imagine there would have been a lot of outrage in the black and politically correct communities. Is that 'fair'? Nope, but given the historyof the word, I'm ok with a different set of standards...he apologized. I'm ok with that if Frank is. Are you ok with that or do you feel like he should be punished?
I don't think anyone wins when these things happen. Do I think he should be punished? By who? Who really cares? The bigger person keeps calm, and carries on. He's immature, doesn't know how to control his emotions. By keeping quiet about it, Bo and co. shows what a classy outfit they are. Oh, and they're playing for a national championship tomorrow.
I absolutely feel that he should be punished. As you stated, if Frank said the same about Harrison he would have been hounded to the ends of the earth. The entire UW program would have been vilified. Bo would be made to put the entire team under sensitivity training and that's just for starters. In this case though it's nothing but crickets from the mainstream media and the liberal progressives.
4 Kentucky starters didnt even walk through and shake hands last night after the game.......then the comments by Harrison. Thugs, just pure thugs !!
