    You are right. Lots of birds were working at the mouth of the cove.

    Fishing was very good today! Good enough that I didn't really miss being in a tree.

    Four of us caught at least 60 rockfish with 8 keepers from 18 to 33 inches.

    Tons of birds and small fish working the eastern edge around Hooper's Straits south to 72. We left them and went to the western side where we found bigger birds and bigger fish. Stumbled on a school of 27-30" fish near the surface with no birds in a half mile.

    Should have done this as well, barely saw 8 ducks none interested in stopping their flight, had geese buzzing us all morning instead. Knew we should have picked up spot for the livewell.
