Not the best of setup, roadside out the window, pushed the 105 to its limits but the Sony a7 did well.

Neat birds to see and hear . These showed up in the bean field behind the house a couple

years ago. Appear to have been 2 adults 1 young. Must have nested in the wetlands a couple miles south . Nesting pairs have become much more common but still a rarity here .

Started the same way here, first pair I saw was 10 years ago, last summer I watch a family group of about 30-35 mixed adults and young. Sound like what dinosaurs would to me.
