Moved to the Ennis area permanently the end of March and have been building a house since then. Friday evening I decided to skip working on the place and go fishing instead. Reports were fairly dismal with guys saying they were scraping 1-3 fish a morning, but I was sick of sawdust so I went. Ended up netting 9 and had 3 others escape via early release. Headed for Missoula tomorrow so my wife can get her second knee replacement on Wednesday so no working or fishing for a few days. Bright side is we can see light at the end of the tunnel on the construction. The other bright spot for the month is I have about 2 weeks left before I have my 6 months in and go down and get my resident license and tags. :tu

Congrats on your impending six month residency anniversary!
Good luck to your wife on her operation.

House is looking great, but all work and no fishing would make Gene a dull boy! Hope your wife’s surgery goes well, sorry you’ve got to come over into the smoke on our side though.

Allmacher at Missoula Bone and Joint. She's having it done at their surgery center.

I'm way beyond dull at this point. :l It's definitely smokier here in Missoula than it was in Ennis. Still not as bad as what we woud get in California every year so I'm not complaining. :tu

Wife had hers done by Dr Whiting Northern Rockies group. He did my hip too. I won't mention the poor service I had from Missoula Bone and Joint which is why I went elsewhere.

Well, our experience was 100% in the opposite direction from yours. Doctor and nurses were all top notch and the surgery center was a dream compared to a hospital.
