Your absolutely right, we need a president that sees the same and will enforce such. Not one that will allow all imports of basically everything needed while jobs in the mainland disappear to his ink pen

I’m talking NAFTA going down the drain tariffs so high on imports that no one can afford them and when they move back to make stuff here make it law they can’t increase their prices 10percent over their current price and credit Cards can only charge today’s lending rate on interest . It’s time to get back to the late 70’s and 80’s

Could you explain how that process works. Do you pull the queen cells out of hives? How do you get a colony to create queen cells but not swarm?

Grafting. You set up cell builders and...it's complicated.

    Me me me...
    :)
    Put me on the list.
Let's see. Those are at least 8 days in.
Hatch out next week or so. Mated and laying by around may first?
Itd be peachy to get a few new genetics.

These are 10 days in. They should hatch tomorrow afternoon/Friday morning sometime. We will check back in 2-3 weeks to see if the queen took. As far as the grafting process goes, it isn’t rocket science, especially if you have the right set up. If you just need 10 queens it obviously isn’t worth it but we are making 1080 cells every day during splits.

    Wow. Ive attempted and failed.

    I tried making a starter/finisher with a cloake board.
    Got over-run with shb immediately.
    They smelled it and...damn beetles.

I have everything to graft and even have mini mating nucs. What I do is use swarm cells.
I break up swarms in advance if I can.
    Queen castles.
    Tried Nicot.
    Maybe I'll try that again.

Hey I could trade you genetics. Perhaps my Illini mutts local open bred might be good for you.
    Maybe not.
    If you're a breeder not.

We have about an 85% success rate on the grafted cells taking. I’ll try to get some pictures of the entire process and set up while we are still making them. We have 3 guys that have exclusively run the queen yard for about 5 years so they have it almost perfected.

I would be very interested in seeing that if you would be willing to take the time to post. I’m sure others would be interested as well.
