Benelli provides a special extended choke for steel shot, they also provide a choke for lead shot. If I choose to shoot bismuth, would I be better off shooting their special extended, choke or a flush choke?
Thanks

My experience has been all over the road with Bismuth. I'd say it patterns more similar to lead but you definitely want to put it on paper at the distance you shoot most and confirm. I've personally has good results with my flush IC in my 20 and a light mod in my 16. My average shots are 20ish yards.

Use the lead chokes. I shoot a Improved Modified in my Beretta A400 plus and get 80% plus patterns at 40 yards with a #4 Bismuth @ 1450fps. I shoot them where they are at to 40 yards.

The stock mod or ic works just fine with steel or bisimuth.

Im thinking with it being to tight for steel they call it a lead only.

Yes, like Kevin said. biz likes a tight choke. I use an improved mod in my 20. Your factory choke may work well. Mod or tighter. If you’re set on getting that choke, I’d go extended.

Like mentioned I’ve had my best luck treating it like lead. In my 20 I run full on ducks and a Jebs Turkey choke if I’m hunting geese. If it’s natural, close shots or if you’re also using steel I’d run modified maybe improve modified if it’s steel safe and you’ve patterned.
