I ran a few rounds thru my new 10 last season and had much better success with the factory improved cylinder vrs a pattern master. Over water I noticed the improved was far superior to the 12 gauge with a pattern master. Thinking about a kicks mod or improved for duck anyone have opinions with more time with a browning gold light 10

You're obviously going to pattern it , But you are correct the factory improved cylinder is hard to beat., I bought an assortment of chokes and returned Practically all of them. The one I settled on was a briley I C and a full 745 Constriction, I think, good luck

Surprisingly they improve cylinder pattern on the water with twos was mine blowing perfectly round circle of shot at about a 40 inch circle at about 30 yards

Compared to the 12 gauge with the pattern master which was shooting a long elongated pattern about 20 yards long

I will tell you that the ten really excels when you reload. There is nothing that compares!

My only issue with the BGL 10 is the safety in front of the trigger. That really cost me a lot of shots In the few hunts I used it on.

You will find the Factory Flush IC a good choke to have but if you want mid to long range performance the Briley .745 has a good track record !
