I hunted Flordia n January of this year for Mottled (which we harvested) and whistling duck, which we never saw! Still on my list to harvest!

As I have stated before we have a decent amount of tree ducks here in SE Louisiana. A friend of mine is getting ready for them for this year. He is taking old mallard decoys and putting custom paint on them to look like tree ducks. We will see how it goes?

It works but not how you expect we use a brown tarp over the life jackets and put them around and on top. Must look like a mud island works great. If you just put them in your spread and call them they come to look the fake mud island gives them a mission we like to shoot them feet down hovering.
Suggest cheap life jackets cause they get shot. Thank god for Blackbellies!
