Blue wings starting to move in.

    Went out to scout a few places for upcoming dove and teal season a saw several large flocks of blue wing teal come in. Any one else seeing much?

    No, not migrators. Seeing some that were hatched locally, but that's all so far. No worries.

    I've scouted in the Missouri River Bottoms numerous times over the past few days & the blue-wings are moving in & headed out daily...I'm seeing some good numbers of wood ducks too...NC

    Saw about 20 on our pond south of Independence this weekend.

    I opened the Missouri teal season this morning & brought a few blue-wings home for the grill...I was pleased with the number of birds I saw on the move...A good start to another season!...Be Safe...NC
