I am getting ready to paint my boat this summer. Is the attached a factory pattern? If anyone has any idea on stencils, paint and colors to match I would really appreciate it.

Order a pizza, use box to cut out your own stencils, then spray can away as you eat pizza... So EZ, a caveman can do it.

I bought some stencil kits for shadow grass. Blotchy vertical lines on one sheet and grass on the other. I found working off the sheets was difficult for my outboard. I ordered some stencil sheets and made a bunch of smaller ones and stapled them to big tongue suppressors or small paint sticks so you can hold on the stick and push the stencil against the surface. Either trace out off an existing stencil or free sketch with a sharpie and cut out with a sharp exacta knife. I periodically wiped the paint build off to not have it build up to much on the back side and with several of them it helps. I kept mine so I completely wiped them off with paint thinner at the end to use them again if needed.

I know what you mean.
I've found that using a product like CamoClad makes it much easier to do a good job on an outboard.
