The only reason the SEC always produces talent is because the kids that go to SEC, are mainly from the south. Warmer weather, means training outside. The kids start younger at hitting, lifting, basically everything. Also, when they are not in season they compete in 7 on 7 games throughout the year. If you blow a goose call for 365 days a year, with a man like hunter grounds teaching you the ways, damn right you're going to get better, just like these kids with football in all of the south. You cant run a 7 on 7 game in Feb. in Michigan, or NY, or Illinois...

The fact that Boise State was a division 1AA school in the 90's goes to show you how far the program has come. Understandably, they don't get as much respect as programs that have been around for a century, but they are pretty damn blue collar- starting from Coach Peterson. And, there record in the big games says a lot about how much talent and coaching there is- not to mention- they keep losing all of their assistants to (who guessed it)- Texas, and the SEC. If you can't beat em- make em join ya I guess.

Anyways- this program will be around for a long time- and anybody that knows anything about geopolitics, economics, and natural resources knows that Boise will keep expanding while other places shrivel with crime, poverty, and lack of natural resources. They are planning for the next decades, and it will only be a matter of time before they consistently recruit 4 star athletes instead of having to coach up the 2 star and 3 star'ers.

It will be an interesting year this year with a new quarterback. And then, of course, the move to the Big East. But, if there is a 4 team playoff- and BSU can run the table in the Big East- then- you guessed it, Boise State will at some point be in that 4 team field.

    That's not the only reason.

What Boise has accomplished is impressive, but the "natural resource" that feeds SEC recruiting isn't moving to Idaho.
