Been a while since I posted a coyote picture. Got this one today with my daughter. She spotted it at about 400 yards. Got him to 20 yards before he winded us. She got a case of the coyote fever and could not find him in her scope. He was bugging out fast but I got him to stop right at 100 yards and took him down. You can tell by his belly he’s been eating good.

I am 5’10”. He was also big. It was pretty cool because when he was within 50 yards he started jumping up completely in the air trying to locate his coyote buddy in distress. Then he did it one time at 20 yards. Amazing how high they can jump. Wish I had my shotgun because that would’ve been cool to blast him when he was in the air.

@PorkChop 5' 10" is not even close to a munchkin. That's a big northern dog.

Took the boy camping and hunting for the better part of a week. No ducks but we laid down the pork chops, squirrels and my first otter. Missed a coyote three times with buckshot. Oh well.

Probably the last duck hunt of the season in my home state this year. Scratched out these nice green heads from the frozen landscape
