Carolina rigged sand crabs and Gulp 2” camo sand worms. The pictured perch was fooled by a camo sand worm.

Hit the surf with my son again this morning. Was another perch day for me, while my son found the spot fin honey hole.

Hit the surf again this morning with light tackle. The surf perch bite was off the charts. I lost count but it was 100% catch and release …except for this spotfin drag burner.

I heard the surf was getting hot. Lots of halibut and some WSB along with perch and corbina up and down the coast.
Get while the gettin's good!

Just curious on the tackle you use and how far out you have to get the bait
