Yes. Possible but you need some luck, patience and time. Our season structure is messed up.
ODFW only wants you to kill migrating birds that winter far south. Hence the late Nov/early Dec season. They come through occasionally.
Oregon winters Brant, they start adding up in January. Good numbers, but can't hunt them. ODFW does not want anyone shooting the Oregon birds.

I see most of them on their back migration when there is no season. However, they didn't show last season in the numbers the usually do.
