Only shot 2 myself so far this year...could have killed dozens during the split, but funny how they get smart real quick.

I agree with all the above...sprig work the deocys like not other duck. Personally, I love when those single bulls lock up for hundreds of feet in the air and come down like they are on a string. We used to call them 'arrows' because it looked like they were being 'shot' out of the sky (no pun intended). You can see that big tail waving back and forth as they steer.

thanks to all of you for the nice words......

that was an afternoon that reminded me why I love to hunt ducks.... as well as the fact that the amount of birds isn't what it is all about.

Tom P*: You're right - the cameraman made it all happen - from providing the location...calling them in....and taking the picture. :D
