Since LW&F enforcement hasn’t responded to my query....I figured I’d post to the group.

What is the law regarding collecting fish that have been affected by hypoxia from the salt water introduced from this (and other) storm(s)? I've heard non-game fish were OK to take in (catfish), but not game fish (bass, sac, etc.).

It appears I am surrounded by experts.
Good question. It would seem legal if you had a fishing license and a fishing rod on your person while collecting gamefish, as long as size and limit are in check?

Finally got in contact with them. Basically It’s like this. Game fish are out, because you’re not collecting them thru a legal means (I suppose you could try to back fin them with a hook, but...you’re not allowed to just net them). Non-game fish are OK within the size and legal limit restrictions, etc. And like oleww pointed out, any emergency declarations would supersede the above.
