I have access to a pond that hold/attracts a few ducks one end is shallow and has some grass- can i "seed" anything in the water this spring food wise to attract more ducks

From my experience, for seed your gonna need dirt. Casting it out on the water and into the exsisting grass is just wasting seed.

you might consider mossy oaks biologic waterfowl forage. it's rice. broadcast it in a couple inches of water and that's it.
