A nice cell phone video montage from Tony Vandemore. A lot of ducks fell out of the sky!

Extreme differences in shooting ability when you have a new group of hunters every few days are always interesting. Some are bad, many take a volley or two to settle in and then there are those few who start and finish strong.

Had ten Canadas come through our decoys last season, and that doesn't happen hear anymore. We don't even bother with Canada decoys they've become so scarce. Seven guys unloaded and two geese dropped. It would have been eight guys, but I'd forgotten to reload after running down a bunch of dead ducks in the boat a few minutes before. And this is a group that is normally lights out on ducks. It happens when folks get excited.

Not in those blinds very often. I watch most his Instagram posts. Lots of shells and shooters with low bird numbers per bunch. Guessing most guys wanna shoot first and unload.

Yep, folks get excited and everyone shoots at the closest birds/easiest shots.
