That's a pretty good looking boat, can't believe you have been holding out and not showing pictures of this build.
Your gunna have to post up some pictures when it's done.

It’s been a fun build. Not really a KS style boat. Finding a motor was insane, Covid is not good for that stuff. Found on in AZ and had to have it shipped. None left in country right now dealer quoted me 2022 maybe 2023 if I ordered her locally

Why do I get the feeling you've never been to CBWMA?? :scratch

You'd have difficulty pulling a Jet Sled loaded with two dozen decoys, a shotgun, and a blind bag through 2" of water at CB.
ANY power boat in 2" of water at CB that comes to a stop won't be moving unless it's pulled/pushed into deeper water by humans.
Four inches of water would be bad enough....
And it's not the hull's flotation that stops them, it's the fact that the props have nothing to get a bite on in 4" of water. Not in CB where the bottom in the shallow areas are pretty hard and don't turn into soup easily.....

Let's not pretend CB is hard to hunt.

I have walked in, hunted it in a layout with a push pole, with an outboard on a 16ft boat, and with a mud motor on an 18 footer. Access is simple.....about as simple as any public hunting anywhere......hence, your problem....

    It's TOO easy. :yes :l

agree with you on hard bottom.. long tails get around better short shafts. Tuleman I’ll have more photos hopefully next week when I go get it. Motor was mounted yesterday. Here is a few of the build pics. Little stronger bottom and rib design to take impact. Boat with winch in it weighs 550lbs.. hopefully be a rocket for the western rivers..

You should get the feeling that I am not a resident, not that I have never been to CB before.

I don't have a need to scare big rig owners from going out there.

A jet sled isn't a 18' slick bottom boat meant to draft a few inches.

You might have seen boats not made for what CB is struggle out there but there is no proper setup that couldn't handle it out there unless it was bone dry.
