    So if this duck season turns out like last then I’ll probably spend most of this winter working on a ‘69 Chevy Biscayne that was gifted to me. I got it running already but it needs a lot of work. The interior is in good shape though so I think it’ll do with just a good cleaning. I have half a mind to just get the engine (Chevy 350) solid and drive it as is. I like the rustic look. Here’s a few pics of the battle wagon

    I love classic cars so tell me some stories about cars you have, cars you had, and cars you wish you had.

    C182B1A8-989E-4C9E-9CEA-BE4FF7774C17.jpeg I own a 69 GTO. I Have had it since 2001. It has the original 400 small block. I have completely restored it spent way to much money on it, if I replaced something I tried to find original gm.

    Sweet dude. Pee Paw used to race Vettes on an amateur circuit back in the 60’s and 70’s. I wish some of those cars were still in the family, but alas they’re not.

    @Juan De

    Did you do the work yourself or pay somebody? No way I could afford to pay somebody to do all the paint & body, that stuff is $$$$$$$

    Duck, it was a mixture of both. I got it to a point and decided to let professionals handle the rest, I was single and didn’t have kids so I was in complete control of finances. It was a 13 year project. If you start needing help with parts for your resto holler at me I can put you in contact with a place that has a lot of parts. Guy had original Gm fenders that had never been on another GTO, but I paid a high price for them

    Nice Chevy! Would make great sleeper.

    My 69 Nova. All original except for the radio. 230 inline w 3 on the tree. 56k original miles. I'd like to say it's a chick magnet but honestly more old guys wave at me. MyNova.jpg

    Opening this thread I was really expecting a picture of an Iroc.

    Probably big eagle on the front.

    I got a ‘78. No eagle, solid black.

    My dream car is a 1980 black Trans Am with t-tops and the eagle. Like this
