    Just got back from N Maine- set my bear baits for my youngest son!

    Miss the refuge shoot,was thinking about it the other day.lots of good memories.It was fun while it lasted.

    I just can't get excited for Sept goose anymore. No clue why either. Same with early bow season. October is when I get excited and ready. Probably has something to do with all the dang house chores I need to get done still. :)

    Think dealing with cleaning piles or deer in the heat kind of makes it a little harder to get pumped. Those crisp clear mornings seem to do something to the body that a hot damp September day doesn’t....
