One of the gems of Missouri is the Current river in the Ozark National Forest. It's scenic limestone bluffs and spring fed flow provide a nice backdrop for floating down with friends and family. Usually I'm able to pull out a few nice trout bit this time my tackle box fell out of somewhere and I found it in the driveway when I got home. Had a few extra responsibilities that would have made it difficult anyway. Always enjoy the wildlife along the river with the exception of thieves in the night that are bold enough to get in your tent while you're sleeping. Great fun as a yearly event

My grandparents lived near there years ago. Now only my favorite aunt an cousins live in Van Buren. My cousin was sheriff of Carter county for several years. Really beautiful area.

A 9mm in the face hole will stop that chit! I've floated the White and Buffalo and that is surely beautiful territory. I need to get back over there someday soon.

AHHH!!! Cave Spring, one of my favorites. Like Welch Spring as well.
Have run the Current and Jack's Fork many times. We normally go in the Spring when no one in around. Can have an entire camp ground to yourself.
