Yes found out oil is easier to clean in airbrush than latek. I use Paasche dual action and it is pretty easy to use.

And oil won't gum up the tip as fast or at all in the right temperature. Clean it quick after use you shouldn't have any problems. PS I use a cheap harbor freight airbrush for large parts and a Paasche for fine work

Just a word of wisdom, spend more on an airbrush and avoid causing yourself a headache spraying acrylic latex paints. Do a little research as you will need to learn how to properly thin the paint with a medium so you don’t lose adhesion. You’ll also want have a decent compressor, forget the small hobby compressor that you paint fingernails or models with, when painting lots of decoys I use a two gallon portable or just run off my garage compressor, it takes a bit of pressure to push thicker paint. I use a Paasche dual action airbrush with the 2 ounce bottle attachment. When I’m going to paint I’ll set out all one species at a time and know which color I’m running in what order and finish the details with brushes. Lot of dry brushing to add feather details. It is up to you on whether you go gunning style or museum quality, I don’t have the museum quality ability like some guys on this forum!
Your words are appreciated and that's kinda what I was thinking, therefore researching.
It's always been my line to pay once wince once, hobby compressors be damned.

Second what M.G. sez. The Paasche Dual Action is a very good airbrush and not that expensive on Amazon. Heck sakes, you might even want to play around with a little flocking...

Not my
The flambeau paint will just flake off in a slight 5mph wind.
Not my experience. The Stormfronts mallards and pintails I have are 8 years old and have no flaked areas with just some normal wear, from being bulk bagged. The colors are still like the day they arrived.
