It's outstanding to have a daughter hunt with you. I've enjoyed every hunt with mine way into the hundreds. Can you believe she was a rat for yrs and yrs. We laugh all time about our refuge experiences.
Spent a couple days in the blind with my daughter this year. Not many girls have "hobbies" anymore as they're permanently attached to their phones. Just last weekend she went on her first refuge hunt with my son as she drew a good resi at a NVR. I was the proudest dad in the world knowing my two children were hunting together that day. She Scored her first bull sprig and Drake widgeon and couldn't have been prouder. Here's a pic she took of us at the blind. It was a fun day. She missed a few birds and was looking for some payback.
Awesome picture and how special it is to spend time with your kids, no matter how old they are, in the blind/marsh.
Nothing better than that Rick. Make sure you share the history from your dad and what you have recorded thru the years . She will love it
