Nothing can beat hunting with your family Rick. I like seeing the girls getting involved, out there with their dad. Two of my grandaughters got their licences this year. On one trip this year I was about to pull the trigger on a teal when it suddenly vanished from sight, thanks to a well placed 20 gague charge by one of them who has since been removed from my will.

Seeing this made my day. Hopefully she'll connect on one next time. Make sure there are lots of "next times".

How many PM's have you gotten from the single guys here? ;)

This was the year for the grandsons. They got their JR license and we were to go dove hunting. My wife and I spent a day scouting and found a nice spot.
Then I got the call and one of the boys had C-19!!
So then it was going to be the Duck opener. I didn't pull a res for a handicapped blind so that didn't work. The gang will all be up around Valentine's day so nothing going on then.
My hope is 2021 will be the year??
My daughter gave fishing a try when she was little but it wasn't her thing. Shopping is though, she loves shopping!!!

What great memories you are creating! I’ve always enjoyed posts with dads hunting with their kids, especially their daughters. But your hunt, with your daughter, will be remembered since my ‘little girl’ is now grown up. What a fabulous family legacy you’ve created. Your dad is celebrating with you from above.

Don't give up on that young lady Gene. She is doing what most young ladies like to do most. Doesn't mean that at sometime in the future she
won't decide to come along on a trip with her dad. Maybe a little hint now and then wouldn't hurt but don't push which might turn her off. Good luck.
