The other thread got me thinking. I’ve never painted my decoys, and many of them are just about completely black. I’m not sure it makes a difference or not, but repainting decoys might be a fun project, since Covid has a lot of my normal summer activities all screwed up. Might be fun to sit outside and drink and smoke and enjoy it only being 80* at night.

So what’s the best paint? Spray or brush it? Thanks.

Bonus points to those who post pics of DIY decoy painting projects.

Use what you are comfortable with. I like the blending with a spray gun.
House latex. Small (8oz) spray gun

Depends on the decoys your repainting. My junkers i just gave up, and gave to a kid. Couldn't get paint to stick to them any better than the manufacturer.

Some kits are ok for small numbers, but there are better options if you want to paint more.Good Luck.
