Decoy spreads

Lets assume the hide is perfect your on a highly pressured lake in a cove. What's your go to spread when hunting pressured ducks? spinners? Water movement? I need help lol

Assuming that your hide is "perfect" is the first problem. The hide is much more important than the decoy spread in 99% of hunting. Having seen what "perfectly hidden" means to some people, it's not very difficult to see why they struggle at times.

Immaculate hide, small spread, possibly confidence decoys, no spinners, sparse calling.

You either have to blanket the cove with decoys, or go the other way and hunt with, like, 6.

I always want to be different from what everyone else has...if everyone runs 3-4 dozen mallards, then I want pintails, widgeon, coots, geese, ringnecks, black ducks...something. Or 12 dozen to put a bigger spot on the water...

Small, highly visible spread (magnums if you’ve got them). By small I mean no more than 5 decoys. If you use a spinner, you must have a remote. Once the spinner gets their attention you turn it off. I set the spinner off to the side of the decoys maybe 20 to 30 yards. Even if it’s on a lake, just to be different, I sometimes use a wood duck spinner and two or three wood duck decoys. Never hurts to be “creative”.
