Deer head soup

    Dang you’re brave doing that in the house. Some serious stank generated from that. You did a good job. Turned out great

    My son did a blacktail he got last season. I thought it turned out well. I did a big mule deer from last year that I let boil too long and the nose area sort of fell apart. I had only ever done an antelope before that.

    I really like the look of Euro mounts and will be doing more in the future. Will be bringing our set up with us as you’re not allowed to bring back skulls with brain out of most states now.

    I've never done one in the house. But I do like them better than shoulder mounts.

    Last one I did.

    I like those dark antlers.....

    My hunting partner is a taxidermist and had his house built with a huge trophy room.
    Most of my antlers are cut off at the skull cap and bolted to the barn or cabin outside.
    The only inside "head" I have is a horn I had carved from my first ram in the 1990s...
