Today was the first day to put in for Shotgun permits.
Even after reminding 2 hunting buddy's and a reminder on my work calendar, work had me busy all day and had completely forgot.
Fortunately one friend called and was frustrated as all get out going round in round circles on the 'new' site which I wasn't expecting.
Got on the phone with him, we tried all kinds of crap but to no success. For the next part, one big difference between him and I is I have my hunting info in the on-line system and he's only ever bought permits OTC. In fact bet he's not deer hunted of better of 2 decades maybe more.
Now it's my turn. I start navigating to the permits, then I'm forced to create an account with password... ok fine.
You'll love this, filling out my info there's a required drop down selection for Gender. Guess what, 3 to choose from
Fill out my info , next taken to a page for username and password. Ummm, never have done that previously and am quite sure making up one won't help creating my new account
Fumble around, get taken through entering the same damn info over and over. Finally goofed around and went to my profile, I think
that's where it was, and found where to create a user name.
Do that and next you'll get an email with link to go back to the IDRN site and create a password.
Ok now I'm set right ?
Go through another gammit of entering and confirming info to wade my fat azz back to the permit location.
IDK but finally got it done. IDK how new the system is and hope they will get it user friendly.
Next my other buddy who already had a username and password for the love of god we couldn't get him logged in. Well did once then it went to crap.
