Thankfully no one was hurt. That top of the second one fell pretty close to that road and there had to have been some bystanders rubber necking along there

Dang, I’d like to find a tall stack like that to drop shot from it.

Scrap lead is $0.40/ pound.

Lead shot is $2+/pound.

I’d like to try dropping shot, but the tallest structure here is a 3 story.

The 1st year I started working at my present job in hvac ,they sent a install crew on a swap out .
They swapped out the furnace and air at west 3rd st north instead of west 3rd st south or something along those lines , bottom line it was the wrong house.
Was told the door would be unlocked ,just go on in. Ironically that house was unlocked and the same size equipment as they were told to install.
Guy got home about the time they were finishing and hit the jackpot, free furnace and air !!

In the early 1980’s I had dinner with Jack Loizeaux, founder of Controlled Demolition, Inc. Even then, they were insured by Lloyd’s of Londen. I’m guessing they’ll be fine making it all right.

He was a fun, interesting guy.
