They have been leak proofing his team. Giving different people different dates/locations/dress code for the announcement to see who is leaking to the media.

In my opinion

I'm not a big fan of Nikki Haley.

I like both Trump and DeSantis. If both do run, I will listen to DeSantis to see if he tries to water down his positions he has held in the past, in order to gain the votes.

And I hope neither make enemies of each other during the campaign.

If Desantis runs he is going to run to the right of Trump during the GOP Primary.

Trump has been bashing Desantis already. Trump will continue to bash Desantis. Just like he bashed Rubio, Little Beady Eyed JEB and Cruz back in 2015/2016.

Pence is 63. 13 years younger than Trump. So he's got that going for him...

But Pence has always come across as a "Stuck Up/Anglo Saxon/Onward Christian Soldiers/Pasty White Guy" to me... Meh...

Sounds as if Tim Scott is going to give it a go. And he's 57.
