Its about the IBWP, looks like a bunch of British bird seekers are on the way to explore the The Big Woods.

I tell yah I really think these birders will throw a fit when duck season starts over the IBWP. I guess its a good thing the Big Woods aint got no water.

I just don't understand all of it ... If the darn thing(s) have survived with duck hunters all around, why would anyone in their right mind think that should be changed???? If it worked so well ... don't try to fix or improve on it

I won't be a bit surprised when the AGFC or USFWS shuts down duck hunting on the Cache either entirely or in large blocks over that stupid bird. And I have alot of friends who normally hunt there who'll be pizzed over it if/when it happens.

the problem might be when there are more IBWP seekers out there then duck hunters and they hear those shotguns go off, they will have a cow, after all they came across the Big Pond to to see the IBWP in the Big Woods. Id be mad too if I came that far to bird watch and people are shooting ducks scaring off the IBWP. Its going to get ugly, of course if the river doesnt flood there wont be many duck hunters.

Shutting down hunting has been the hidden motivation all along.

The birders actually got smart enough to figure out a way in making up this woodpecker crap, that they got both the USFWS and the AGFC to do it without hesitation.

Granted, the USFWS doesn't care if anyone hunts or not. I think most of them would just as soon see hunting close, then they can do nothing ALL year, instead of most of the year.
