Please respond about the above comments refering to the work being done by the AG&F at Dagmar just for the birders and the lack of things done in years past to benefit duck hunters. Comments? Rebuttals?

Yes, we are putting up signs to help birders in the area. We are providing areas to bird watch that will not conflict with duck hunters. As funds become available, we are also planning to rebuild the railroad trestle that was burned down this summer. Does that answer your question?

"We are providing areas to bird watchers that will not conflict with duck hunters!"

Lets see now, what have we done!

    1. Going to rebuid the Railroad trestle that is located at the only public acsess inside the WMA on Bayou DeView used by Duck Hunters! Birders & Hunters trying to use the very same small parking lot located on the end of a dead end road built on top of the old raid road dump! I can see them Greyhound busess going down there to get to this viewing sight & hunters trying to use the 'UNIMPROVED" launch sight located there. Don't see a conflict here! :tu

    2. Move the Waterfowl Rest Area boundries back inside the levy & make it a new Viewing trail for birders to walk down during season in an area that was totally off limits to all, but is still closed to hunters! Don't see a conflict here either! :tu

    3. Built another Viewing Trail for birders right into the middle of the Mud Slough Greentree resiovior where 85% of the duck hunters will be!!!! The head of this trail is located at one of the main launch points into the Greentree & it is also located at the end of a deadend road that has very little parking in the first place. And this is where them Greyhound buses are suppose to go also! I can also see a problem here while hunters are trying to use this "UNIMPROVED" launch site with no parking too! This for sure will stop any conflicts! :clap

    4. And for the more get after it birders, they have estabished boat trails, complete with direction signs and instructions right through the very areas that are the main areas where hunter will get to get away from the birders in the first place. That should stop any problems!

    5. Have failed to address any kind of regulations that apply to birders or people conducting Commercial Activities for birders and are allowing them to do as they wish, when they want, how they want. By allowing this to happen is a good move that will for sure stop any conflicts that might have happen! :l

Yep, That pretty much answers our questions! They can be happy using all their new improvements that are located right where we will be trying to use all the "UNIMPROVED" items we have so wanted for years, but never got! Glad you all are on the job so well & have all the bases covered to stop any problems!

i think everyone will be happy to know that the arkansas game and fish commission has had a name change. it is now offically:

the arkansas woody peckerwood and fish commission.

this new name will solve all the problems. now all they have to deal with is one supposedly bird and all the fish in arkansas and let the rest be damned.

and mr. spokesman you are still not telling the public the truth.

I am not out to get anyone! But we one speaks, they need to relay information stated in the right way so that everyone understands what is being said.

They can say that the deals put into place are placed there to prevent any problems & they are leaving the general public to believe they have done everything they can to advoid any conflicts. So as it is right now, if problems happen, who will be positioned to say they did everything they could & who do you think will end up taking the blaim?

By what they have done iis this, they have on purpose or by stupidity, place both parties involved into a position to where they are forced to use the same areas, the same acsess points, share the same places at the same times, and in a way, have poured the gas all over the place and are just waiting on the first match to get struck & the big explosion to happen, all the while standing back & saying we did all we could do and it's not our fought, but we will address it now!

The real issue here is what was stated was not at all what is going to happen in real life over there. The have by no means done things to seperate the two groups but just the opposite. The have done everything in their powers to put them as close togather as possible!

I heard from a NWR employee from another state that they have lots of videos and pictures that haven't even been released to the public yet.

What the HE!! is Arkansas becoming area 51?

Everyone repeat to themselves this is a freaking woodpecker quit changing anything that is in place.

These birders seem to be harassing this thing 10 fold to what any duck hunter or deer hunter has done.

    Dam Peckerwood.

rks, the new woodypeckerwood and fish commission has sucked all the federal monies out and there's none for the other states to get. and with the federal budget the way it is there may not be anymore for the other states so the woodypeckerwood and fish commission is doing what you call, making hay while the sun shines with all the birder from all over the world bringing them down with a wrath on the duck hunters of arkansas. i've been told too that there are more states where ole woody peckerwood has been seen and other place in arkansas too. why don't they show proof? they have none to show. and the woody peckerwood and fish commission is bleeding it for all it's worth at the expense of hunters. it's all about money, money, money and when there's that much money involved in anything the truth takes a back seat and there it stays. i could not, in good faith, pass off bad information like ole awp&fc and another i've been in contact with at the woody peckerwood and fish commission. the are yes people. they tell what they are told to tell. they can't stand on their own two feet. what's the saying? the truth shall set you free? where does that put the woody peckerwood and fish commission?
