Or am I reading this backwards and he's going after the Prosecutor for being too soft on this dude? I sure hope so.

Yes, you are reading it backwards.

"Gov. Ron DeSantis is asking Florida’s 9th Circuit Court State Attorney Monique Worrell for written insight into her office’s handling of the man accused of killing three people in an Orlando spree shooting.

DeSantis expressed his frustration at a press conference Monday saying that Moses has such a violent history that he wanted to see how he was free to roam the streets.

“As you are well aware, our state suffered inexplicable tragedy last week when a series of shootings in Pine Hills left three people dead - a mother, her nine-year-old daughter, and a news reporter - and at least two others injured. The shocking nature of these horrific acts is difficult enough to process, but even more galling is the fact that the man who was promptly arrested for these crimes, Mr. Keith Melvin Moses (aka Keith Moses), date of birth June 11, 2003, has been allowed to remain on the streets after multiple arrests, including one your office has refused to prosecute. He has also been reported as a “known gang member” with an extensive criminal history, including aggravated battery, assault, and grand theft,”

That makes me feel much better. All Republican governors should be holding their State AG's and DA's accountable in the same manner. This letting hoodlums walk free needs to be stomped out, or their supportive DA's/Prosecutors ought to be tossed in jail themselves for dereliction of duty and embezzlement of their salaries while failing to do their assigned jobs.

There are 3 other cases in the works:

1) The most significant of the three.
Fulton County, Georgia. Based primarily on the Trump phone call that was taped by the Georgia Secretary of State. According to the publicly released recording of the call , Trump attempted to pressure the Secretary into "finding him votes", despite being repeatedly told that there was no electoral error. Trump's repeated efforts to convince the Secretary to find some basis to overturn the election results were perceived as pleading and threatening. At one point on the call, Trump told Raffensperger, "What I want to do is this. I just want to find, uh, 11,780 votes, which is one more than [the 11,779 vote margin of defeat] we have, because we won the state." During the call, Trump falsely suggested that Raffensperger could have committed a criminal offense. Legal experts have suggested that Trump's behavior and demands violated state and federal laws
The Grand Jury finished 2 months ago and a decision by the district attorney is expected soon.

2) The Department of Justice Special Council is investigating the classified documents and 2020 election which could
result in a wide range of charges from document mishandling to insurrection.

3) New York State Attorney General Civil Case about Trump Organization misleading lenders which could result in
Trump Business being forced out of New York State.

I bet they got him now.

That was for continuity. A reference to show how many times the left had their "smoking gun" that was "finally going to get Trump".

In reality:

Donald will not flee.

There will be no revelations in this case.

They will persecute him until the election. Every day, Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler will go on the news with "new" or "ironclad" evidence. This will drag out until the election for damage value, it is red meat for the dem base and it is a lifeline to the never Trumpers.

Then, after the election, the case will fizzle out and die, they will arrest a few of his staffers on unrelated charges or procedural violations(remember, if they want you, and you testify, they can hang you up on a technicality).

This is Russian Collusion,Trump's Taxes and Jan 6th, resurrected.

The fact is not against the law to pay for or enforce a non-disclosure agreement is the real issue.

If you want to talk about how to unify Republicans behind Donald Trump in the primary, having an unhinged left-wing prosecution, complete with perhaps a perp walk for the cameras, that ends up being thrown out and ends in failure could be the single biggest in-kind gift to the Donald Trump campaign of this entire cycle,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on his podcast Monday.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Trump’s closest ally in the Senate, said Bragg, the Manhattan prosecutor, “has done more to help Donald Trump get elected president than any single person in America today.”

DeSantis took a veiled shot at his rival by quipping he didn’t “know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair.” DeSantis’s statement checked both boxes, acknowledging the absurdity of paying off a porn star and highlighting how this is a Soros-backed district attorney.

It will not get thrown out, it will hang in, until the election and then fizzle out. They will get a few people on the Trump team for unrelated charges(remember, if they climb up your butt with a microscope, might they get you on some innocuous charge?)

Missy Skeeter, why would you edit out what Desantis said? :scratch It goes back to what the OP is about. What's your problem?

"I don't know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair. I just I can't speak to that. But if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring the crimes happening every single day in his jurisdiction, and then he chooses to go back many, many years ago, to try to use something about porn-star hush money payments, that's an example of doing a political agenda and weaponizing the office and I think that that's fundamentally wrong,"
